Bright dental treatment room

Dental questions,
clearly answered.

Everything patients ask us about full-arch implants, fixed teeth in a day, cost, recovery and care. Answered by Dr. Datta and Dr. Diana.

Understanding full-arch implants

What are full-arch dental implants?+
They replace an entire upper or lower set of failing or missing teeth using 4 to 6 implants to support a fixed bridge, restoring chewing strength and aesthetics in one coordinated treatment.
How is All-On-6 different from traditional implants?+
All-On-6 uses six implants for enhanced support and stability, unlike four-implant methods, giving greater comfort and durability at no extra cost.
Are full-arch implants different from dentures?+
Yes. Unlike removable dentures, full-arch implants are a non-removable, fixed set of teeth anchored securely to implants.
How many implants are used per arch?+
Typically six or more per arch. The exact number depends on your bone structure, bite and aesthetic goals, and is planned with digital imaging.

Fixed teeth in a day

Will I really get teeth the same day?+
Yes. Thanks to digital planning, 3D imaging and our in-house lab, your implants and fixed teeth are placed and fitted in a single visit, as long as implant stability allows immediate loading.
How long does the procedure take?+
Typically 4 to 6 hours per arch, from removing failing teeth to securing your new fixed teeth.
How do you make sure the same-day teeth fit?+
We use 3D planning, guided surgery, digital impressions and an on-site lab to design and fabricate a custom temporary bridge for a precise fit and bite.
Who performs the surgery?+
Dr. Datta Malyavantham and Dr. Diana Sensenbrenner, supported by a trained surgical team and in-house lab technicians.

Cost, insurance & financing

How much do full-arch implants cost?+
Full-arch treatment typically ranges from $15,999 to $25,000 per arch depending on bone needs, implant type and materials. Single implants typically cost $3,000 to $5,000.
Does insurance cover implants?+
Some portions, like extractions or diagnostic steps, may be covered. We are in-network with Cigna, Guardian, UnitedHealthcare, United Concordia, Blue Cross Blue Shield and MetLife.
Do you offer financing?+
Yes. We offer payment plans and third-party financing, and accept FSA/HSA dollars.

Candidacy & health

Who is a good candidate?+
Adults with several missing, loose or failing teeth, advanced gum disease, or long-term denture use who want a fixed solution. Age is not a barrier as long as overall health is stable.
Will I need bone grafting?+
In many cases, no. Angled implants make the most of existing bone. If bone loss is significant, minor grafting can be performed.
What if I’m nervous about treatment?+
You’re not alone. We offer gentle sedation options, a calming environment and a caring team with you every step of the way.

Safety, pain & recovery

Is the procedure painful?+
Treatment is performed under local anesthesia, sedation or general anesthesia depending on your comfort level. Most patients feel pressure rather than pain, and soreness afterward is managed with medication.
Are full-arch implants safe?+
Yes. With CBCT imaging, guided surgery and proper diagnosis, full-arch implants are a predictable and safe treatment.
How long is the recovery?+
Most patients return to normal activities within 3 to 4 days.

Care & longevity

How long do implants last?+
Implants are designed to last a lifetime with proper care. The fixed bridge typically lasts 15 to 20 years or longer.
What materials are used for my new teeth?+
Premium materials such as zirconia or nano-ceramic hybrids: biocompatible, stain-resistant and lifelike.
How do I care for my new teeth?+
Brush and floss daily, attend regular hygiene visits, and follow the maintenance plan we provide after treatment.
